The civil engineering student Shruti Tambe from Mumbai has interesting hobby. She enjoys documenting Mumbai landscape. She documents everything through photography and video. Her college friends from her engineering college and mother always call her as “mad girl”. In the process, she, who happens to be the most intelligent student of the college, has been popular as “mad girl” for her hobby to record street scenario and landscape in Mumbai.
“I used to use both camera and camcorder for any recording. But, at times, it creates lot of problem for me. At times people including police have stopped me to quiz me on irrelevant matters. My hobby has been source of fun for me. But it has also a fair share of irritation. But my new pen camera has changed everything. With the help of this pen camera, I am able even record videos while I am walking. It is a great!” she adds.

Shruti had recently visited Worli in Mumbai to meet her uncle who works in a bank there. She likes Worli. Its green pastures and new generation building fancies her a lot. She likes Dr Annie Basant Road in the locality. Many times she had given the example of this road in her civil engineering profession. “Incidentally I had my Pencam in my bag. I kept the Pencam under my shirt pocket and start walking on my favorite street from Worlinaka to New Passport office. I have collected many videos which I like.” She narrated.

This “mad girl” now has been the talk of the her class as she has now a different identity because of Pencam. Classmates and professors of her college appreciate her as her quest for newer gadget is an attitude to follow.
