Children: The Joy of Life

January 27, 2009 by belifal

Working with children is always fun be it teaching or playing games with them. The challenging part is that you have to come up with new games every time to meet their enthusiasm, and be ready they might out wit you anytime whatever game it may be.

Well, our main aim through games is to instill values among children, for example here is one game that we came up with.

There are 5 postures of exercise as you can see in the video.

Each posture is associated with a name

1) Satya meaning Truth

2) Dharma- Righteousness

3) Shanti-Peace

4) Prema-Love

5) Ahimsa-Non violence.

The children are first are told and shown these different exercises associated with each name. After memorizing each of them, they are supposed to enact each of them as we call out the name. The best is when they goof up!

Here are all the goof ups…its really funny, the idea is to catch them unnoiced and that’s when a pen video camera always comes in handy. ;)

Pen Camera in Action!

November 18, 2008 by belifal

Professor David Williams, head of Economics Department at a popular university shows us how effectively and constructively he used a pen video camera.pen video camera

Instead of using it as a spy gadget, he cleverly used the pen video camera to track all those students seen cheating at an annual exam, by simply pocketing the pen hence escaping any detection. Instead of getting hold of them right when the examination was going on, he took a video of them and displayed it live during a classroom lecture.

Here’s a snapshot photo from the video…

Caught!!

Well, it was funny watching them copy like that but the students who were cheating were so embarrassed seeing themselves displayed in that manner, that since then they were never seen cheating again!

No More Thefts

November 10, 2008 by belifal

An unknown knock at the door, often presents us with unwelcome thefts. Robberies and thefts have ever since been skyrocketing, be it house hold or otherwise. They are strong built, equipped with all sorts of knives you could possibly imagine and are probably armed too. So what is a person to do? Give away all the precious valuables that he has spent his entire life assembling? Give a fight back and never see himself using those valuables

Well to prevent all of that, here’s something interesting.

James, a young boy in his teens hailing from New York was all alone at his home when two armed robbers break into his house and ask him to assemble all the valuables. Petrified to no end he does what is asked to do, being sensible of not putting up a fight and in the event injuring himself.

Well, isn’t that what most of us would do?

Unbelievably the next day newspaper featured the headline “Young Boy Nails Serial Robbers”

James had a pen video camera that he got for himself to shoot some fun events at his school. Little did he know that it would work as a life saving tool.

While he was asked to assemble the cash and other stuff, he quietly pocketed the pen and switched it on, the built in camera clearly recorded the thieves and the entire event escaping any detection due to its appearance as a pen. With the aid of the video the robbers were easily caught by the police and all the valuables were back home where they belonged.

Pen Camera Captures the Rarest Flowers…

March 24, 2009 by belifal

Recently I went to a Flower Exhibition that was organised at a private garden. Words are not enough to describe the exotic beauty of the flowers. Well, photography was not allowed but you know how I did it. Yes! With the pen video camera. I tried getting some names of the flowers but I guess their explicit beauty goes beyond words.

Pen Camera Brings a Message for All

March 2, 2009 by belifal

Recently I went to an exhibition and there was this beautiful poem of Rabindra Nath Tagore that touched my heart. Immediately i switched on my pen video camera to record this poem. Following is the snapshot of the recording

A poem

So lost are we in our lives, that sometimes we don’t even know what we are doing or for that matter what we ask from the Lord. So here is a little introspection for everyone.

Pen Video Camera: Cuteness Magnified

March 2, 2009 by belifal

Often there are instances when such cute moments occur and especially when we are children. That I would define as cute. And when it is captured forever its cuteness magnified.

It is at such occasion that a pen video camera comes all the more useful to capture the moment as it, without any one noticing or becoming concious.

So here it is…a school program where all the young ones were to dress up as Gandhiji. Cute as they naturally are, could not resist taking a snap of them.

Deserve a hug, dont they?
